EVERY CHILD...EVERY SERVICE...
EVERY EFFORT
OUR MISSION:
Uniting collective efforts to prevent child abuse, reduce trauma of abuse and protect our children, while restoring the families of our community.
Minimize re-victimization of child victims and their supportive family members throughout the investigative and proscutorial stages of their cases and beyond.
Facilitate prosecution of perpetrators through effective fact finding and strong case development.
Be reflective and responsive to the needs and resources of the communities we serve

Every adult in the state of Texas is required to make a report when child abuse is suspected. You do not have to investigate or be certain that abuse has occurred - you only have to suspect.
Call 911 if you believe a child is in immediate danger, or if you do not get an appropriate response to other requests. Contact Child Protective Services at 1-800-252-5400 to speak to a statewide intake coordinator and express your concerns. You may also make a report online at www.txabusehotline.org

Children in abusive situations often will not speak on their own behalf; you must act for them if you think abuse is occurring.
