HISTORY
How the CACPPC started:
The CACPPC exists largely because there were 114 confirmed cases of child abuse or neglect in Palo Pinto County in 2011, an average of 2.1 per week.
A task force comprised of prosecutors, law enforcement, Child Protective Service investigators, church, school and community members came together to create a solution in the fight against child abuse in Palo Pinto County: a children's advocacy center. This citizen and partner-agency group formed the Children's Alliance Center for Palo Pinto County in October 2012, acquired a building in the spring of 2013 and opened its doors for services in May 2014.
